Update, 2010-06-28: Given the information I have right now, and the time pressure of an effective close-down two weeks from now, I propose:
Move to Ask Antimoon next Tuesday, 2010-07-06T12:00:00Z (that's 1200 hours UTC), by stop of
posting questions, answers and comments and post on Ask Antimoon instead.
Post a Community Wiki post here announcing the move. Bump that post (by editing) indefinitely to keep it at the top for newcomers to see.
Somehow backup the exisiting content in case iRosetta goes from read-only to being shutdown. Such that the content is still available in some form online. I think the existing effort should be protected, and it should be possible to refer to the old content (e.g. in case of duplicate questions)
There is minimum friction by moving to another Stack Exchange 1.0 site (although I like the crispness of the iRosetta layout).
I have not looked at other alternatives so don't be shy bringing other alternatives forward.
I would much prefer if iRosetta could be kept for at least a year. But in any case I think we should reach a consensus of where to go next and do it in a lock-step fashion instead of individually go elsewhere. That would destroy the small, but functioning and friendly community here.
We don't know if and when the Stack Exchange 2.0 language website will take off.
