Could be:

Cuyo mochila está en mi cama?

The thing I don't know is whether or to what extent and how to distinguish between "on" and "in" when talking about beds in Spanish. I think the Spanish preposition "en" is far more open to interpretation in this regard than prepositions in English or especially Russian.

Yes, I believe “en” can mean either, depending on context.

backpack

cuyo is a relative pronoun….

Google translate suggests:

¿De quién es la mochila en mi cama?

Always a good idea when you don’t know the language to take the output and translate it back into the original language. I believe that his sentence actually translates to: “Who is the backpack on my bed?” Oops! =)

When using automated tools and you don’t know the language, it’s always a good idea to take the output and use it as the input for translating back into the original language. I believe that his sentence actually means: “Who is the backpack on my bed?” Oops! =)

I think “de quién” and “cuyo” both mean “whose,” though.

Something tells me ccarpenterg probably has the right answer. Truth be told, I have no business answering questions about Spanish translations. But, you know, we’re just getting started here. =)
