How would you translate "Merci de l'encouragement" in english ?

Errant has a pretty decent direct translation, but I've never heard anyone say "Thanks for the encouragement". I would recommend:

Thanks for the support.

I have heard both ‘Thanks for the encouragement’, and ‘Thank you for the encouragement’ on several occasions and they are both entirely appropriate.
