Proper use of A-Z?

What is the proper way to use "A-Z" in a title?

In particular which of the following would be better?

Doing X A-Z

A-Z of doing X

From A to Z doing X

Doing X from A to Z

The A-Z of doing X

Is there a name for the "A-Z"/"From A to Z" thing? For example, idiom or fixed expression? I couldn't find an online description of A-Z.

Context.

"Something from A to Z" and "The A to Z of Something" sound the most familiar to me. (The first form might be better for a title since it gives your "Something" prominence, but that's a separate issue.)

At this point the phrase is something of a cliché, but in any case it's probably not obscure enough to be an idiom. Perhaps it's just "an expression"?
